Sleep and Diet: Ensure a good night’s sleep and a nutritious diet the day before the surgery.

Medications: Contact the doctor if you are taking blood thinners or broad beta-blockers (Propranolol) as medication adjustments may be required prior to the surgery.

Head Shaving: The entire head will be shaved to a length of 1mm by our team. Do not shave it yourself.

Hair Length: If the doctor plans to shave a limited area, keep your hair as long as possible on the back and sides to cover the harvested area after the procedure.

Medication Restrictions: Avoid B or E vitamins, aspirin, and other anti-inflammatory medications (NSAIDs) for one week before the surgery. Resume them three days after the surgery. Take prescribed medications, including heart and blood pressure medication, as usual on the day of the procedure.

Smoking and Alcohol: Stop smoking one week prior to the surgery until two weeks after. Avoid alcoholic beverages for at least three days before the procedure.

Hair Color: If you have blond or white hair, dye it light brown or darker approximately three days before the surgery.

Morning of the Procedure: Shower and wash your hair thoroughly using regular shampoo. Avoid applying sprays, gels, or other styling products.

Clothing: Wear loose and comfortable clothing that doesn’t need to be pulled over your head to prevent dislodging the bandage or damaging grafts immediately after the surgery. Bring a large-sized cap or hat for outdoor use in the following days.

Meals: Have a full stomach breakfast on the morning of the procedure. Lunch will be provided. If your surgery is scheduled for the afternoon, have a light lunch before arriving.

Beverages: Avoid coffee or any caffeinated beverages on the day of the surgery.

Valuables: Refrain from bringing valuables like laptops or gold to the office on the day of the surgery.

Dandruff: If you have dandruff, continue using Nizral 2% twice a week until the surgery.

Confirmation: Kindly call the doctor’s mobile two days before the surgery to ensure everything is proceeding as planned.
